About Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black
Overall Feedback:
78% positive
75% appreciated the long battery life
The battery life is great. I have been using it in performance mode since I got it and the software still reads at full battery, so there is no hassle of charging.
I have been using it for 3 months and the battery life is amazing. The software still shows 5/5 battery left.
68% praised the durable cable, but 32% experienced signal loss
My $20 mouse is better than this one as it does not have a consistent connection.
I suggest going for a wired connection instead of wireless if possible.
76% appreciated the seamless dpi switching
I use the DPI switch to quickly switch to slower, high detail tracking for detailed work in Illustrator or Photoshop.
The DPI button feels slightly smaller but exactly the same as the G-Pro.
72% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 28% found it too small
The ergonomics of this mouse are wonderful and it would fit just about any person. The only downside to using it left handed would be having to hit the side buttons with my pinky instead of thumb.
I find the size and ergonomics of the mouse perfect for my large hands and it is very comfortable to use with my claw-palm hybrid grip.
I would have preferred a more ergonomic shape for the gaming mouse.
70% praised for its pinpoint accuracy
The sensor handles everything with precision, especially while playing FPS games. It is highly accurate.
The 3366 sensor is a noticeable step up from the 3310 I was using, being very accurate and responsive.
65% praised the intuitive software, while 35% found it buggy
I can now use the Mac version of the software, although it is clunky. I can assign custom functions to the buttons and change the DPI settings.
The software (G hub) is garbage and not working properly. However, the basic mechanical function of the mouse is fine.
I faced an issue with my mouse where it started to randomly register clicks as double-clicks, making it difficult to use software like Adobe.
I contacted the support team and received a list of steps to resolve the issue. However, after following each step and replying back to support, they kept sending the same response with an added question of if I received the previous message, without acknowledging that I tried all the suggested steps. This indicates poor software support.
The mouse lacks the necessary software update to reprogram buttons, but the Mac client fully configures the keyboard.
The mouse occasionally stutters and cuts out, hindering competitive play, whether or not G HUB software is enabled.
75% liked the balanced weight distribution
I suggest using lithium batteries to compensate for the lighter and balanced feel of the mouse, which is good for aiming. The mouse has weight shift differential balance from front and back.
With a AAA battery, the mouse feels fairly balanced and not rear heavy.
The battery life is great. I have been using it in performance mode since I got it and the software still reads at full battery, so there is no hassle of charging.
The battery life is fantastic and can last for weeks or even a month before needing to be charged.
