The battery life is fantastic and can last for weeks or even a month before needing to be charged.
The battery life lasts around 40-60 hours with the LED on, but it starts lagging and stuttering at the last 20%, making it slightly less than that.
With normal use of 3 hours a day, the battery life is less than a week.

As a casual gamer and photo editor, I wanted DPI control and this mouse is perfect for my needs.
The DPI settings cannot be switched while using the mouse via Bluetooth. Even if the software is installed, the settings are not stored on the mouse, so it always defaults to Rainbow RGB and default DPI settings.
The DPI button starts at a low sensitivity and jumps a lot, going from 3000 to 5000 to 10000 without warning.

The Dark Core's ergonomic design feels the best of any mouse I've owned and it looks great too.
I found the mouse slightly smaller than what I'm used to, causing me to hit both mouse buttons at once and accidentally hit the sensitivity button. However, I got used to the ergonomics over time.

I can control the lighting of my mouse based on the temperature of my selected component, such as my graphics card. The mouse turns more orange reddish when the graphics card gets hotter and will be more greenish bluish when the graphics card is on idle or running cooler.

The scroll wheel is very smooth with a subtle clicking as it scrolls, making it more accurate/precise than the mamba.
At this price point, I would have preferred a 3360 sensor, but the 10,000 dpi sensor performed well enough.

The software size is 339Mb. I am curious about why it is so big. I even joked that it might be coded in Python using emojis.
I was aware of the lack of Mac support, but I thought the software would be released eventually. However, the mouse did not function as expected, even for basic tasks.
I have complained about the software of this mouse. The software was so bad that it literally bricked my mouse. I had to go through a long process of re-installing the software and connecting the mouse via a cable to my PC just to get it to work again.
I am frustrated with the software of the device. Bad software can affect a good device, which is ridiculous.
