About ASUS ROG Spatha X Wireless Gaming Mouse
89% appreciated the long battery life, though 11% experienced quick drain
The mouse battery lasts for a few days, unlike my previous mouse which lasted only a day. The app can also be configured to flash the mouse lights when the battery is low.
The battery life of my gaming mouse is impressive. I can go days without needing to charge, even with heavy use and RGB lighting on.
My mouse's battery life is very poor. It won't last more than 10 hours on a full charge, even though the manufacturer claims 114 hours.
79% liked the customizable buttons, but 21% found the software clunky
All the features are hidden very well.
I suggest reprogramming the volume buttons as they are mapped by default to the mouse and can accidentally mute the game.
78% praised the durable cable, but 22% experienced signal loss
I can use the USB-C cable to connect the mouse as a wired mouse.
I had issues with the cable provided with the mouse and switched to a third party cable which solved the problem.
74% appreciated the seamless dpi switching, though 26% found it slow
With the software installed, I can easily switch DPI using the buttons on the bottom and receive window notifications indicating which profile I am on.
A small piece of broken plastic came out around the DPI switch portion of the cover.
66% praised for its pinpoint accuracy
I can now compete with younger gamers who have grown up playing games with high precision thanks to this mouse. It is accurate and precise, allowing me to aim and shoot with ease.
78% praised the intuitive software, while 22% found it buggy
The hardware is good, but we need to improve the software.
I am dissatisfied with the software that comes with the mouse. The functionality is minimal, the macro set up is less than basic with tons of missing features. It is decades behind Logitech when it comes to software. Additionally, the software is laggy and I can't change the button setting nor anything in my mouse right now even though it's connected and fully functional on my PC... the software it comes with isn't recognizing it.
I faced issues with opening the software. It would either freeze or require an update to continue, even after updating. I made several attempts over the next few weeks but was unable to open it.
81% liked the balanced weight distribution, but 19% found it too heavy
Personally, I find the mouse size a downside as it is pretty chonky. However, it might be an up-check for someone with average or larger hands who prefers a chonkier-sized mouse.
My mouse is heavy, which affects my ability to make small aiming adjustments.
After long periods of use, my pinkie hurts because the mouse is heavy.
