I purchased the seat with thickened spring cushion and it feels sturdy and comfy.
I got the version with the thickened spring cushion and although I get sore every-so-often, adjusting how I am sitting or moving the lumbar support gets rid of that.
The cushioning is almost non-existent.

I love the recline and foot rest feature of the chair.
I love that the chair can be laid back all the way.
The arms of the chair are flimsy and get easily bent. They move fluidly when reclining, but are bowed outward from weight when using the arms to assist in getting in or out of a chair.
I am frustrated with the armrests being connected to the chair, which makes them weak. I cannot lean on them to reposition myself without bending it outward and having it bowed out. Then, I need to bend it back inward where it belongs.
