About Razer BlackShark V2 X Gaming Headset
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
70% appreciated the long battery life, but 30% thought it was too short
The battery life is a personal annoyance for me, but most people won't face this issue.
76% liked the solid build quality, but 24% thought it felt flimsy
The gaming headset's build quality is average and the rail system for the head band extension may take some getting used to. It feels fragile as it is made of just two thin metal rails.
The headset feels somewhat solid but it is clear that it is not made with premium materials.
I am concerned about the build quality of the headset. It feels flimsy and less durable than expected from Razer. The materials used do not exude the premium feel that Razer is known for.
74% praised for its customization possibilities
My experience with the gaming-accessories is solid with good customization options via Synapse.
79% praised for its comfortable grip, but 21% found it awkward to hold
I have never worn a gaming headset that does not require me to max out the sizing just to get it to fit.
The aesthetic of the gaming headset may not be liked by everyone.
70% appreciated the quiet operation, but 30% found it noisy
The mic picks up an air purifier that is 10 feet away from me.
At higher volumes, there is a loud and warbling buzzing in my right ear.
Even with everything at max level, the noise level is still not high enough.
70% appreciated the accurate sensor tracking, though 30% experienced lag
I have noticed that the tuning of the headset out of the box is not up to the mark, especially at around 140-160hz, which makes them sound muffled. I have attached an EQ curve to balance the mid and high frequencies while reducing low and mid bass, based on my experience with the product.
78% liked the lightweight and portable design, but 22% found it bulky
Throughout the day, I noticed that the standard headset is 58g lighter than the wireless and it was very noticeable.
The battery life is the only good thing about the product, as I only used it for a short period and based my opinion on other reviews.
