About Logitech G335 Wired Gaming Headset
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
69% appreciated the long battery life, but 31% thought it was too short
The battery life is the only good thing about the product, as I only used it for a short period and based my opinion on other reviews.
My headset has a lifespan of about 10 months and now it is not working properly. The mic started not picking up my voice and now it randomly stops projecting any sound. My voice also turned very digitized in vc.
68% liked the solid build quality, but 32% thought it felt flimsy
I am disappointed with the build quality of the headset. It feels cheap despite having a base price of $60. I compared it with my previous headset, V3 X, which was cheaper but had better build quality.
I have had issues with the volume knob's quality control, having returned the first one.
The quality of our gaming accessories is just okay.
66% praised for its customization possibilities, but 34% found the options limited
I found a fix for the issue of the headset not being loud enough. By going into SYSTEM > SOUND and disabling Audio Enhancements, the volume of the headset will increase significantly. However, this setting will be turned on again by default when the computer is restarted, which is annoying. I wish that Logitech would consider audio levels when developing their audio enhancing software.
73% praised for its comfortable grip, but 27% found it awkward to hold
The headset is smaller in size and clamps quite a bit, which is not super comfortable. I have an enormous melon which might be affecting the comfort level.
I compared it with V3 X and found it to be less dynamic and reliable than V3 X. However, it does have the option to adjust it digitally in Razer Synapse.
64% appreciated the quiet operation, but 36% found it noisy
Every time I start my computer, the volume control resets itself to max loudness.
The volume of this gaming-accessory is extremely low and it introduces a lot of distortion if turned up, making it unusable for gaming as I can barely hear anything.
In wireless mode, I hear a constant whining noise in the left ear from the headset.
62% appreciated the accurate sensor tracking, though 38% experienced lag
The sound quality of the microphone is not good and it is compared with a cheap $10 wired microphone.
The headset is a great choice for extended use, especially for gaming, with its long battery life, fast charging, excellent sound quality, and comfort.
I find the build quality of the controller decent, but it may not feel as premium as more expensive controllers.
