About JBL Quantum 100 - Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headphones
Overall Feedback:
76% positive
66% appreciated the long battery life, but 34% thought it was too short
For 30 bucks, it is very impressive.
The headphones are on their last leg, indicating that the battery life is almost exhausted.
If the headset drops less than 2 feet, one of the earcups explodes off. This negative feedback is regarding the battery life feature of gaming accessories.
73% liked the solid build quality, but 27% thought it felt flimsy
The build quality of my gaming accessory seems cheaply made, but it's holding up well so far.
The build quality of the headset is all rigid plastic and it is a bit creaky. However, in this price range, all headphones are going to be like that.
I am disappointed with the build quality of the product, especially the adjustable headband which looks weak and may snap easily under slight pressure.
I am concerned about the build quality of the headphones as they are made of light plastic and may not hold up well for long-term or heavy usage.
I am dissatisfied with the build quality of the product, particularly the shoddy plastic used in the wire harness cover. It cracks and falls apart after a few adjustments, causing hair and scalp snagging.
73% praised for its comfortable grip, but 27% found it awkward to hold
I noticed that the adjustable headband can easily snap if simple pressure is exerted at the connection.
The flexible mic boom may break easily as I move it frequently and it's not in my eye-line when not in use.
If I drop the headset less than 2 feet, one of the earcups explodes off.
70% appreciated the quiet operation, but 30% found it noisy
Even with people coming in and out of our training space, we can still hear them talking but have some protection. This means the noise level is manageable.
The headset reduces quiet sound around me, but there is no active noise cancellation.
In crowded environments, you can hear quite a bit of rumble in the background as the noise isolation is not the best.
The sturdy cord rubs on me and transmits sound through the plastic.
The sound and mute buttons seem fragile, which could indicate a low noise level.
80% liked the lightweight and portable design, but 20% found it bulky
I love the feel of the soft ear cups and the lightweight of the headset. It allows me to wear them all day and blocks out the noise around me when I am working. Plus, I can rock out when I need to.
The headphone is not very portable and doesnt fold inwards. It also doesnt come with any protective carrying case, so there is a risk of snagging it on something if I toss it into my bag.
I was disgusted with the product and immediately boxed them back up and returned them. I'm going to get the older generation instead. Based on my experience, I can say that the product was not satisfactory.
The build quality of the mouse is similar to the previous generation.
