I have slept on the floor for many years and found it more comfortable. I have tried other options like yoga mats, exercise mats, and fluffy blankets but nothing is as comfortable as this futon-mattress. It is pretty hard and very sturdy and I might have liked it to be a little less hard. However, I am very happy with the product.
