About Magic Sliders 4038 Series 1-1/2" Sliding Disc, Pack of 4
Overall Feedback:
74% positive
71% appreciated its adjustable design, though 29% found it limited
My first purchase of Magic Sliders fit the legs of my dining chairs perfectly with an elastic type top that stretched over the wood and held them in place.
I suggest improving the design of the sliders to prevent the furniture feet from slipping out of place.
Magic Sliders migrate over a course of months even though the desk has not been moved and weighs over 100 pounds.
69% liked the sleek and modern design, but 31% thought it was outdated
Magic Sliders do not collect pet fur/hair like felt pads do.
I have used furniture sliders in the past with great success, but the most recent package I purchased had a sharp piece of plastic sticking out and it gouged my floor in several long streaks.
77% liked its long-lasting durability, but 23% experienced wear and tear
Magic Sliders work very well on hard surfaces and carpeting, making it super easy to move chairs, tables or even larger items like sofas.
In more demanding applications, the adhesive is not effective and the feet tend to migrate over time.
I suggest improving the design of the sliders to prevent them from constantly slipping out of the feet by allowing the furniture feet to wrap around the legs.
One of the sliders has become unglued because I use the chair the most, indicating that the durability of the sliders is not up to the mark.
The stickers were of poor quality and came off within a week. Additionally, I doubt the white layer for the sliding component will last as long as the original product.
I have used these furniture sliders before with great success, but the most recent package I purchased had a sharp piece of plastic that gouged my floor in several long streaks.
72% found it easy to install and use, while 28% had difficulties
I attached the glides after prepping the desk feet with acetone to ensure that they were perfectly clean and receptive to the pressure sensitive adhesive on the glides.
The sliders are easy to use, but there should be better description of their size and the furniture 'feet' they support.
69% appreciated the protection it offered to floors, but 31% noticed scratches
I used furniture sliders with great success before, but the most recent package had a sharp piece of plastic that gouged the floor, resulting in scratches that need to be sanded/buffed out to protect the floor.
I have complained that the Magic Sliders migrate over time, even though my desk has not been moved and weighs over 100 pounds. This indicates that the glides are not providing sufficient floor protection to my furniture.
One of the sliders has become unglued because I use the chair the most.
78% praised for its smooth gliding action, while 22% experienced sticking

I can easily slide my Queen Wrought Iron bed from one side of the room to the other to vacuum the carpet.
Magic Sliders migrate over time, even though the desk has not been moved and weighs over 100 pounds.
71% appreciated its compatibility with various floor types, though 29% found it struggled on specific surfaces
I have noticed that the Magic Sliders migrate over time even though the desk has not been moved and weighs over 100 pounds.

I suggest that the sliders are easy to use, but there should be better description of their size and the furniture 'feet' they support.
76% praised for its noise-reducing capabilities, while 24% noticed loud scraping sounds
I highly recommend these sliders as they stay in place better and slide much easier than any other brand I have tried. I'm not sure what the reason is behind it.
These sliders do not collect pet fur/hair like felt pads do.
Magic Sliders migrated over a course of months even though my desk has not been moved and weighs over 100 pounds.
77% impressed by its heavy-duty weight capacity
I have used 1.5 inch glides on a heavy Steelcase desk with steel feet. I prepared the desk feet with acetone to ensure they were clean and receptive to the pressure sensitive adhesive on the glides.
My first purchase of Magic Sliders fit the legs of my dining chairs perfectly with an elastic type top that stretched over the wood and held them in place.
The design change of the sliders is good as the pads have adhesive on them now instead of having a little lip that fit around the leg of the chair.
