If you plan on leaving furniture legs on them, the pieces may look unattractive.
86% liked its long-lasting durability, but 14% experienced wear and tear
At the moment, I am not sure about the long term reliability of the furniture sliders, but I do not see any red flags and they are doing what they are supposed to do.
In my opinion, the sliders are worth the money.
The sliders are sturdy but they don't stay under the furniture. They slide right out from under them and don't work. I suggest they need some kind of sponge or something to hold them on to the bottom of the furniture. I would not recommend these to anyone.
I noticed that the felt sliders detached at the edges and left a permanent indent after removing them from under the couch.
94% found it easy to install and use
The furniture slider is easy to use. Lift one corner at a time and slide the item under a leg. Push it to relocate it wherever you want.
85% appreciated the protection it offered to floors, but 15% noticed scratches
I explained how the furniture slider works. One side glides smoothly across the floor, while the other side cushions and prevents furniture legs from slipping off when moved.
I have noticed that the sliders are available in different versions for various types of flooring, and it is essential to use the correct ones to avoid damaging the flooring.
The furniture slider works amazingly on carpet floors, but only average on hard wood, linoleum, and tile floors. However, it wears out the bottom of the disk after a few uses on cement floors.
Small pieces of dirt or debris can get caught beneath the plastic and grind across the floor.
86% praised for its smooth gliding action
The furniture slider glides smoothly on carpet floors, average on hard wood floors, linoleum floors, and tile floors. It is okay on tile floors but wears out the bottom of the disk after a few uses on cement.
89% appreciated its compatibility with various floor types, though 11% found it struggled on specific surfaces
The furniture slider works amazingly on carpet floors and average on hard wood, linoleum, and tile floors. However, it wears out the bottom of the disk after a few uses on cement.
After removing the sliders, the felt halves started to detach at the edges and there is a permanent indent. This may be due to the multi-surface compatibility of the furniture sliders.
86% praised for its noise-reducing capabilities, while 14% noticed loud scraping sounds
I was able to move two large couches and heavy wooden furniture without help and actually with one hand. I found them on Amazon and think it was a great buy.
After a few uses on cement floors, the bottom of the disk will wear out when using the furniture slider.
Any small piece of dirt or debris is likely to get caught beneath the plastic and grind across the floor, indicating no noise reduction.
86% impressed by its heavy-duty weight capacity, though 14% found it struggled with lighter loads
I was able to move my heavy couch with minimum effort after putting the sliders underneath, indicating their good weight capacity.
Even though we used 4 sliders under a 200 lb couch and the product was supposed to support 110 lbs each, it did not hold up well.
The felt pads have a rubber-like material on one side to prevent slipping and felt on the other side.
