I faced a problem with the compatibility of the furnace filters. I measured my old filter and furnace opening multiple times to make sure I was getting exactly the right filter. However, the problem is that while my existing and new filters are both 20x25x5, they are different from exact 20x25x5. And in my furnace being off just 3/8ths of an inch caused a problem.
The installation was somewhat difficult because the filter was not as sturdy as the previous one.
