I am frustrated with the lack of transparency in the sizing of the filters, which is crucial for air quality improvement. The company should provide the actual sizing up front, rather than hiding it as a secret.

I ordered the filter several months ago, but when I went to change the furnace filter, I discovered large gaps all around it which makes it useless.
I noticed that the filter size is different from what was advertised and there is a gap between the edge of the filter and the vent, which raises doubts about its effectiveness in filtering.
The filter is undersized and allows unfiltered air to bypass it, causing a build-up on the heat exchanger and reducing the furnace's efficiency.
If there are gaps in the filter, air will pass through and affect its efficiency. Additionally, the filter size is too small for my filter housing, which also affects its efficiency.

I am looking for a cheaper replacement for a 16x25x4 Filtrete furnace filter.
