I expected the fruit leathers to be slightly chewy, but they were hard and bland with a strange aftertaste.

I was disappointed with the flavor and texture of the fruit leathers. I expected more based on high reviews, but they were hard and tasted like apple/pear, with no detectable strawberry flavor. No one wanted to finish the box.
I am disappointed with the taste of the fruit-leathers, especially the Sour Strawberry Apple flavor. The recipe needs to be tweaked to reduce the overwhelming tartness, as it was too overpowering and made it impossible to taste anything else.
I find the taste of the fruit leathers unpleasant, as they remind me of a mixture of dirt, sawdust, and dried strawberries.
