About Ninja NF701 Professional XL Food Processor
Overall Feedback:
65% positive
74% appreciated its versatility
I used the food processor to make a vegan cheeze sauce with soaked cashews and crushed them finely using the chopping blade.
76% praised its low noise level, while 24% found it too loud
The blender is quite loud and not suitable for early morning use if someone is trying to sleep.
81% liked its powerful motor, while 19% found it underpowered
I have a food processor with a powerful 1200-watt motor, whereas the previous version had only 1000-watt motor.
My food processor's motor stopped working completely after 45 days of usage.
The motor cut out 5 times due to overheating and now it smells like the windings are fried. It has also lost power compared to when it was new.
71% liked how easy it is to use
I find the lid easy to lock/unlock, which has increased my usage of the food processor for all the little things, including chopping onions for guacamole.
74% highlighted its easy cleaning, whereas 26% found it difficult to clean
Washing the food processor is extremely easy if you have a dishwasher. Everything apart from the base is dishwasher safe and comes out clean every time. However, if you don't have a dishwasher, it is a bit more trouble to clean the food processor. This is just how it goes with food processors.
Cleaning the food processor is easy. I hand wash the washable parts under running, lukewarm water with a little dish soap and soft sponge and allow to air dry.
The cleaning process of this food processor is the easiest I have seen. Compared to my previous food processors, they were a nuisance to clean due to design issues that allowed food to fall through the bottom onto the machine. This food processor has a seal on the lid that does a great job of keeping messes inside, since they have time to drip down before you open the seal.
Cleaning the food processor is difficult and the blades are extremely sharp. Even after using a long-handled brush to clean them, I still cut myself.
76% appreciated its large capacity
The food processor has a 9 cup capacity, allowing me to make larger batches of food when needed.
This food processor has a 9 cup capacity and an 850 watt (peak power of 1000 watts) motor.
78% liked the high-quality blades
I love the chopping blade design with two levels of blades and sloping surfaces to throw food back into the blades.
The chopping blade is sharp and I sliced my finger loading it into the dishwasher.
I have been using the Ninja food processor to make nut butters, including peanut and pecan butters, and it is remarkable in breaking down ingredients quickly. It totally shines in comparison to all other machines.
I have made various products like salsa, nut butter/spreads, fruit spreads, hummus, re-fried beans, batters, dough, veg pate, etc. using the food processor.
