I kept the leak-proof tupperware in my bag with chili and there were no leaks.
Sometimes I face issues with leaking as the seals of my food container set are not tough.
The glass boxes were supposed to be leak-proof, but they leaked oil and dough. The yeast in the dough caused it to grow and leak through the sides.
As soon as I received the containers, I tested them by putting water in and locking the lid. Unfortunately, it leaked.

The containers are easy to close, clean, and can be washed in the dishwasher with no issues.
The container set is easy to clean in the dishwasher, but the ridges in the lids can be a little more difficult to get small particles out of. However, I gave it a four in the easy to clean category because of this.
