About 3M Medipore H Soft Cloth Surgical Tape
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
85% praised for its strong and lasting adhesive
The tape has great adhesive strength and is durable.
The tape sticks well and does not irritate my skin. However, changing a dressing requires some effort as the adhesive comes off easily with hot water in the shower.
I use tape to keep the tube against my belly when going out so that it is not offensive to everyone I meet.
86% liked its breathable fabric, but 14% found it trapped moisture
I used this tape to stop a leak in my canoe. I rolled the tape (sticky side out) and jammed it into the hole. After letting the aluminum dry, I taped the top and bottom of the hole. Although I forgot to check the bottom, the tape completely stopped the leak.
I noticed that the tape was not breathable and my clothing stuck to it.
82% praised for its easy and painless removal
I noticed that the tape left some residue after peeling it off to change the bandage, but it was easy to remove.
The tape left residue, but it was easy to remove.
With a little work, the adhesive comes off easily and hot water in the shower helps to melt it for removal.
82% appreciated its flexibility and easy to use, though 18% found it difficult to apply
The tape is easy to use and heat activated, making it easy to position and reposition without damaging the skin.
The first-aid tape is difficult to use as it wrinkles up and is hard to get off the roll.
90% appreciated its gentle, hypoallergenic material
I used this hypoallergenic tape to stop the leak in my canoe and it worked well. It is safe to use on skin.
86% praised for its water-resistant properties, while 14% found it lost adhesion when wet
I noticed that the tape left some residue after peeling it off to change the bandage, but it was easy to remove.
The tape left residue, but it was easy to remove.
I get adhesive burn very easily and severely, but while using this first-aid tape, I did not experience irritation and it was much milder than usual, even after long term bandage changes.
