I personally use this tape because of its amazing adhesive strength compared to other brands of silicone tape. It is also waterproof and I keep the same strip on for 5 days, remove it, and apply a new strip.
Within the first 3 days of 24 hour wear, my scars became flat and even with the skin, indicating good adhesive strength of the tape.
The adhesive strength of the tape is not great and some parts come off when in contact with water. But pressing my hand back on it fixes that.
