I have been using Vaseline for years on open wounds of elders. It is the easiest to use by squirting it on the wound and never having to touch it.
I found it much easier to use the product by squeezing it between diaper changes instead of using a q-tip and vaseline from a jar.
I can easily squeeze the tube and extract the right amount of Vaseline. The remaining Vaseline in the tube stays hygienic and clean for the next user.

I had a problem with eczema/contact dermatitis that would not heal for months. I tried many products including over-the-counter and prescription topical solutions but none of them worked. Then I tried Vasaline Pure White Petroleum Jelly and it worked for me. I had to be careful not to touch the end of the tube with my finger to avoid bacteria transfer.
