About Dealmed Sterile Bordered Gauze Island Dressings
Overall Feedback:
80% positive
73% praised for its excellent absorbency, but 27% found it lacked absorbency
The dressing stayed on well and was easy to remove without damaging my skin.
I bought several varieties and sizes of gauze dressings but all of them proved inadequate.
I have noticed that the recent product with blue label leaks and does not stick well in moist conditions.
70% praised the breathable layering, but 30% found it too thick
The dressing is packaged more sanitarily with a two-inch adhesive edge that holds it in place firmly and pulls off the skin easily.
I found that the Dealmed Sterile Bordered Gauze Non Stick Island dressing worked just as well to cover up my wound.
The recent product with blue label leaks and does not stick if the adhesive gets any moisture, indicating poor breathability.
74% found it gentle on skin, but 26% experienced irritation
The soft flexible island dressings are now oddly rigid, indicating a negative change in the comfort of the gauze.
The adhesive on the bandage was almost too good, making it hard to remove pieces from the bottom of my foot where I have very dry skin.
78% appreciated the easy-to-use design, but 22% found it difficult to apply
I have noticed that the product with blue label leaks and does not stick when exposed to moisture.
I have to tape down all the edges with micropore surgical tape in order to put the stocking on, otherwise the edges curl.
The product has changed and the quality is not as good as before. The dressings are now rigid instead of soft and flexible, and the adhesive is weak. They also pop right off if you try to overlap them.
I find it annoying to use the bandage as its edges start to peel after a few hours.
68% appreciated the generous size, but 32% found it too small
I find it annoying that the edges of the gauze start to peel after a few hours.
The absorbency of the product is not as expected and it is not as absorbent as our 4 ply sponges.
