About MED PRIDE Sterile XXtra Absorbent Abdominal Pads 50-Pack
Overall Feedback:
96% positive
90% appreciated its high absorbency, but 10% found it wasn't enough
The bandaging pads make my sutures itch and I suspect it could be due to the absorbent ingredient or the fabric and material used.
89% praised for its strong adhesive, while 11% found it didn't stick well
The bandaging pads are large enough to cover the wound and have very little issue with sticking to it.
There is no difference in the adhesive strength of the first-aid bandaging pads.
The adhesive strength of the bandaging pads is not strong enough to stick to my wounds and the packaging is hard to open.
79% liked its breathable design
The pads are big enough to cover the area under my arm and chest, keeping lotion off my clothes and making it more comfortable to put on clothes.
86% found it easy to apply
The pads completely cover the wound and stick very little.
These pads work better and are more economical than the ones recommended by my doctor.
87% praised for its size and shape, while 13% found it small
The pads are big enough to cover the area under my arm and chest and stay in place, keeping lotion off my clothes and making it more comfortable to wear clothes.
I can tuck the pad into the elastic if my underwear comes up high enough.
There is no difference at all and the pad is even a little smaller than the regular ones.
I suggest that the seals on the bandaging pads should be easier to open, especially for people with big hands.
I had a lower leg wound that kept leaking fluid for weeks despite trying various super-absorbent dressings. However, using foam dressings along with gauze roll bandage kept the wound dry and it healed in about 10 days with once daily dressing change.
The product is thin and absorbent enough to be inserted into the wound.
