About MED PRIDE Hydrocolloid 4 x 4 Wound Dressing Pads
Overall Feedback:
70% positive
70% appreciated its high absorbency
Thicker bandages are more effective in absorbing acne goo than ultra-thin patches.
I am impressed with how well these dressing pads absorb wound exudate, maintaining a moist healing environment, promoting faster recovery, and reducing the risk of infection. The hydrocolloid material is highly absorbent and gentle on the skin.
70% praised for its strong adhesive, while 30% found it didn't stick well
The edges of the bandages are not super adhesive and tend to get wrinkled and eventually roll up, which releases the goo.
The product is not a hydrocolloid dressing, but rather a flexible surface with some sort of adherent.
The adhesive strength of the bandaging pads is okay, but I wish it was a bit stickier.
70% liked its breathable design, though 30% experienced moisture buildup
The dressing pads are highly absorbent and maintain a moist healing environment, promoting faster recovery and reducing the risk of infection. The hydrocolloid material is gentle on my skin.
If the wound is not an inch away from the edges, it will leak out drainage. This could be related to the breathability of the bandaging pad.
Optifoam did not work for me and instead created a larger sore, probably due to the wound location.
73% found it easy to apply
I recommend this DIY pimple patch as it is less expensive and better than the ones made for acne.
71% liked that it is hypoallergenic, but 29% experienced an allergic reaction
The bandages absorb nicely and are okay in terms of adhesion.
76% praised for its size and shape
The patch is perfect for smaller sores.
The dressing pads are individually packed for hygiene and convenience.
The bandage was able to absorb some blood, which is a positive aspect.
