About Curad NON25710 Sterile Non Adherent gentle wound dressing and absorption Pads Pack of 100
Overall Feedback:
94% positive
88% appreciated its high absorbency, but 12% found it wasn't enough
If I use an Adaptic dressing against the open wound and then place the Curad pad over it, it results in good wound absorption without sticking to the wound.
The absorbency of the pad is thin compared to other pads, but it works fine if I don't need the absorbent material.
The pad loses absorbency and does not stay on my wounds due to thick padding causing the outer nonstick part to move around.
I noticed that the pad is thin and not very absorbent.
90% praised for its strong adhesive, while 10% found it didn't stick well
I did not mention the adhesive strength of the product.
The pads do not stick to the wound.
My wounds are not holding the pad well due to weak adhesive, causing it to lose absorbency.
The bandaging pad is mostly non-adherent if the wound is hardly leaking.
The adhesive strength of the product is not good as it simply rips when I move around a little.
I had a painful experience removing the pad that stuck to my open wound.
82% liked its breathable design, though 18% experienced moisture buildup
I find the product not breathable.
81% liked that it is hypoallergenic, but 19% experienced an allergic reaction
I have HS and require absorbent pads. I am sensitive to adhesive and latex. The padding is too thick, causing the nonstick part to move around and reducing the absorbent quality of the pad, which doesn't stay on some of my wounds.
I found a mark on the inside of the bandage while changing the dressing, which raised concerns about its hypoallergenic properties.
91% praised for its size and shape
When I opened each pad, I found that the size of the box was just right, despite my initial surprise.
If I use an Adaptic dressing against the open wound and then place the Curad pad over it, it results in good wound absorption without sticking to the wound.
I compared the gauze with the one from the drugstore and found it to be thin with a low thread count, making it barely useful for protection or absorption.
