About All Health Clear Waterproof Transparent Dressing Wound Cover 16 Count
Overall Feedback:
70% positive
65% appreciated its high absorbency, but 35% found it wasn't enough
I tried the dressing in the shower on my foot after foot surgery and it stayed perfectly dry.
The bandage requires a good seal to keep the wound dry and is not completely waterproof.
70% praised for its strong adhesive, while 30% found it didn't stick well
These bandages stick nicely to the skin and are easy to apply. I have experienced allegedly adhesive bandages that last only for an hour or two before coming off.
The dressing protects wounds or incisions from microorganisms like staph or MRSA.
Sometimes the edges/corners of the bandage peel off a few hours after I put it on, and the adhesion is not consistent.
After pulling off the first glue protectors, the patch weakens the bond on that part of the patch.
72% liked its breathable design, though 28% experienced moisture buildup
I was told that the bandages didn't allow for any breathability. The vet suggested letting the stitches dry for an extra week after the wound healed, but unfortunately one became infected because the bandages were too effective at keeping fluid in.
66% found it easy to apply
I found it easy to apply the bandaging around the stitches and it kept water and debris out.
I still prefer to use this over nothing because the first few days are when my tattoo is most susceptible to infection.
65% praised for its size and shape
The bandaging pads are a good size and it's hard to find ones that stay on. I've experienced that large ones don't stay on as well as small/medium ones.
Silicone foam dressings have great absorption for drainage.
