I added the chimenea topper to the top of my chimenea and painted it to match. It looks good and is built well, but the price is a little steep compared to the ones available around here in Texas starting at approximately $15. I hope it lasts a few years since it was built sturdily.

The screen of the fireplace-chimney-cap is too small and fine, which becomes clogged with ash after a few weeks of moderate usage. This can cause backflow of smoke and I have to climb up and bang the screen off, which is not always easy to do.
