About Seki Edge Deluxe Fingernail Clipper w/Nail Catcher & Built in File (SS-101)
Overall Feedback:
80% positive
78% appreciated the high-quality build, though 22% found it felt flimsy
The nail clipper is of fairly good quality, but it is not worth the high price and is not suitable for my hand.
I compared the build quality of toenail clipper and fingernail clipper. I was disappointed with the fingernail clipper as it was not as good as the toenail clipper. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the blades on the fingernail clipper were misaligned to a noticeable degree compared to the toenail version.
87% praised for its sharp cutting performance, while 13% found it struggled with thick nails
This clipper is a great buy, easy to use, and cuts thick nails quickly without the need to clip twice.
My clippers' edges were dull and they did not even cut through paper.
73% liked the design and color, but 27% found it too dull
I find the design of the clipper poor.
I have complained about the defective design of the product. The metal clipper sits too flush with and loosely in the plastic housing that is supposed to catch the clippings.
66% liked the comfortable grip, but 34% found it didn't fit comfortably
The metal is very smooth and slippery with no holding grip whatsoever.
I find the nail clipper difficult to hold due to its size.
74% liked the perfect size and weight, while 26% found it very big
The size of the clipper is only suitable for little kids' hand/nail size and too small for a woman's hand, let alone a man's.
Several clippers did not come together properly to cut in one clip. Upon looking at the cutting edge, the cut was very uneven, two were not even sharpened properly to even cut. I have several clippers that were made in Korea that are over 15 yrs old that cut better than these that were made in China. The quality in these clippers are not up to standard.
The fingernail clippers fell apart after light use, indicating poor build quality.
