About Five Star 6-Pocket Expanding File Organizer
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
88% were satisfied with the organizational features, but 12% weren't
I bought this product to store and organize important documents. It is safe from damage and easily accessible.
I appreciated the little plastic tabs and paper label inserts that came with the files, which made it easy to label the folders.
The tab inserts provided to label the sections did not stay in place. After one trip to the office, all the labels had fallen out, making it useless.
85% liked the material durability, but 15% disagreed
I am concerned about the durability of the file jacket. It may suffer from repetitive stress fractures if not handled with care.
88% appreciated its sturdy seams, but 12% noticed early signs of wear
I love the durability of this item and cannot imagine it tearing or breaking/bending anytime in the future.
The folder cannot expand too far and will not stand up on its own due to the sturdy plastic that goes all the way around, even along the bottom.
68% found the closure secure and hassle-free, yet 32% struggled with it
The only problem with the file is the stiff plastic closing flap which can be easily bent out of shape and might not close flat after a lot of use.
I am dissatisfied with the closure mechanism of the file. My other expanding files have elastics that go around the bottom corners or around the entire file, but this one has a raised button-like thing in the middle where the elastic goes around, sort of like those manila folders where you wrap a string around.
The elastic band connecting the top of the folder to the circular metal piece snapped after a few uses, making it impossible to close the folder.
My biggest complaint is with the folder flap. It's difficult to use and always stays closed, making it hard to find specific papers.

I like file-jackets-file-pockets because they are tear-proof and can hold many papers without ripping.
