Sometimes feather dusters are not effective in picking up all the dust, but if I spray it with Thieves, it works like a sponge.
Feather dusters are effective for picking up pet hair and for regular cleaning and dusting inside my desktop tower case.
I found that the feather-duster doesn't capture as much dust as I hoped, but it still performs well on walls and irregular surfaces where flat floor dusters are not as effective.

I have complained about the ergonomics design of the feather-duster. It is difficult to attach the duster to the wand without pulling too hard, which can cause the duel bar of the wand to pierce thru the duster rendering it useless.
