It is easy to apply from a small tube opening, it does not cause problems with the application, and it has a long open time before it sets up allowing for adjustments and for clean up of excess.

It is very thick and tacky but glues any fabric to any fabric very well. The directions say to apply it to both surfaces, so it may not be appropriate for lace since it is an open construct and not a solid surface material.
