I have a tip for using eyeglass-repair-kits to relieve discomfort and pain caused by heavy glasses. Remove the nosepads first, slip them on, then screw the nosepads back in. This is much easier and prevents bending of the frames.
The installation was easy and the nose pads did not slip on my face.
I found it a bit challenging to put on the eyeglass-repair-kits, but with patience and stretching, I was able to get them on correctly and they seem to be working well.
