I have been using this sound card for a month and it is still working fine.

I found this external sound card easy to use as it is just a converter for a 3.5 mm earplug through the USB port. I returned a $30 audio card and kept this $7 worth 3.5 audio adapter.
At the beginning, I may need to apply a bit more force to get the tightness needed between the headset and the adaptor. However, once it is secure, it works very well.
