I received a SanDisk SSD drive with twice the capacity I ordered, which was a pleasant surprise.
I was surprised to discover that the external device uses almost three times the actual file size, reducing the capacity by less than half.
My drive currently holds 271gb of data which occupies 559gb of drive space.

After half way, the write speed throttles. This was not observed in other products. I compared it with the 1tb version which performed better.
