The drive burner works with both Windows and Apple Operating Systems and I have no regrets about it.
My burning software already works with LS, so it's not an issue for me.
85% were satisfied with the noise level, but 15% raised issues
The external CD/DVD drive makes a clicking sound and the light on the door flickers on and off when not in use.
I noticed that the DVD drive was sending power to my USB hub using my laptop battery, which resulted in a significant drain on the battery. This indicates that the noise level of the DVD drive is high, causing it to consume more power than expected.

73% appreciated its compatibility with devices, but 27% didn't
I was surprised by how well the drive worked with different media.
The external DVD driver USB 3.0/type C was supposed to work with MacBook Pro but it did not. It worked fine with PC and Mac.
I received the device without the necessary software to support the lightscribe function, making it obsolete.
I personally tested the connectivity options of the DVD drive and found that the USB A and C connections, SD card slot, and burning a Light scribe image all worked as expected.
The external CD/DVD drive worked smoothly with my onboard Windows Media Player. It played, ripped, and burned a CD immediately and called up VLC as soon as I placed in a DVD, which I had forgotten I even had.
I am unable to use the drive on my Mac as it is not compatible with Chrome, Safari, and neither with my old nor new Mac. The drive immediately ejects an inserted disk and no icon appears on either desktop. I cannot read, write, export or import data.
