I faced an issue while running the software for the external drive on my HP laptop running Windows 11. The software was blocking me stating that I needed to be the admin.
I had to search through all the folders on the disc to find the setup, which was hidden among 20 other files/folders. Even after that, I had to reboot my computer and install and reinstall the software twice.
