I wonder if the extension cord's off-white color is due to old inventory.
I received a product that was not as advertised. It was supposed to be a smooth round unit but I received a rough half triangular/heart shaped unit.

The extension cord is of perfect length for my space and I can use the dehydrator without half of it hanging off the counter due to its short power cord.
The cord length is perfect to avoid running a black lamp cord a foot up a white wall to the outlet.

The only issue I have with the extension cord is that it has a 2 prong plug instead of a 3 prong plug.
The plug is bulky and won't fit into a recessed box. It may also cover too much of a regular flush mount outlet box, making it difficult to use the second outlet.
The part that plugs into the wall is polarized, causing inconvenience while using it.
