I was able to bring down the temperature from 85 degrees to 82 degrees within an hour using the evaporative-cooler, despite fighting against the central heat pump heat. This shows that the cooling capacity of the evaporative-cooler is good.

I will do another post once I can verify if the evaporative-cooler is energy efficient and if I can set up the heat unit this winter.

The evaporative-cooler is the loudest high pitch ringing I have ever heard on one of these.

The water reservoir is too small and fills up in less than 8 hours, causing the unit to shut off. This is negative feedback regarding the water tank capacity of evaporative-coolers.
I was able to bring down the temperature from 85 degrees to 82 degrees within an hour using the evaporative-cooler, despite fighting against the central heat pump heat. This shows that the cooling capacity of the evaporative-cooler is good.
While installing the cooler, we suggest bending the outlet tube into position and sliding the unit onto the bracket to minimize movement once positioned.
The temperature control is not accurate. Setting it at 76 kept the room around 71 and setting it at 77 kept the room around 81.
