The fan of the evaporative-cooler is practically silent, even at high speed a faint wrrrrr can be heard that quickly fades into the background noises.
The sound level of the fan is good. On high, it can be quite loud, but the low and middle speeds are not very loud. I keep the fan quite close to me and the low or middle speeds are all I need.

To turn off the cooler, I have to cycle through all the color options until I get to off. It takes a lot of time as there are around 10 colors to choose from.
