The holder works effortlessly with no fiddling needed to lift out or place in.
I enjoy using this unit and have used a Keurig for years, so I'm used to the two-step convenience of it. The Vertuo Next operates in the same manner with one added bonus - it collects and drops the used cup into a convenient drawer without me even having to see it.
