About RDINSCOS EMF Detector, Detect All 3 Types of Electromagnetic Radiation Field
94% praised the high accuracy, while 6% found inconsistent readings
I have wireless devices everywhere, so the device detects RF frequency just about everywhere in my house.
There is still a question about the accuracy of the device.
I would not trust the absolute accuracy of the device, but it is fine for relative readings.
I am concerned about the accuracy of the device as it reports many areas around the house as AVOID, which raises questions about the calibration.
92% appreciated the long battery life, but 8% experienced issues
If the detector was not rechargeable, it would be perfect.
The meter uses a 9V battery which is supplied with our order.
I had to buy a battery as no battery came with the unit.
93% liked the display clarity
The screen provides readings for EF, MF, and RF and is very easy to read.
As the signal strength increases, the lights on the meter change from green to yellow and then to red, indicating extremely powerful signal strength.
96% found it easy to operate, but 4% had difficulty understanding the readings
The device is easy to use, reliable and provides essential information about electromagnetic radiation.
I have found this EMF meter very easy to use. It is simple to operate - just approach the area you want to check and hit the power button, then slowly move the meter closer to the device or area you are checking.
It was easy to use, but the results were slightly worrying for me.
94% found it portable
This emf meter is useful for testing handheld RF remotes like garage door openers and remote temperature sensors to check if they are outputting a signal.
90% appreciated the wide range of measurements, though 10% wished for more
When I lower the detector, the RF ratings drop. It reads just over 100, which is the avoid range when placed next to my head at the same height as the router.
When RF energy exceeds 10 mW/m2 or 1 W/cm2, the device indicates AVOID.
I have noticed that the EMF meter does not detect radio-frequencies above 2.4Ghz. Although it can detect 2.4Ghz wifi signals, it remains silent when trying to detect a 5Ghz wifi signal, which is far from its claimed 10Ghz bandwidth in the manual.
94% liked its high sensitivity, but 6% experienced false readings
I noticed that the sensors of the EMF meter are more towards the front of the device than the actual Sensor circle built into the plastic casing would lead you to believe. Its slightly more sensitive to electrical and radio signals out the front of the device (side facing furthest away from you if you were to hold it in your hand down in front of you), whereas it seems to be slightly more sensitive to magnetic signals on the bottom of the device, near the front. The EMF/RF radiation meter has low sensitivity as it almost always shows zero readings for three kinds of EMF/RF radiation both indoor and outdoor.
