I compared the brightness of two different emergency light sticks, Cyalume Snaplight and MediTac light. The Cyalume Snaplight was noticeably brighter in the first few minutes, but after two hours, they were about equal in brightness. However, after six hours, the MediTac light was still producing enough light to use as a marker or to navigate a dark room, while the Cyalume Snaplight was, for all practical purposes, already spent.
