I was curious about the battery life of the glow sticks as soon as they arrived and decided to test it out.
I tested 3 light sticks and found that they emit decent light for about 8 hours and still emit fairly weak light for close to 14 hours.
After 6 hours, the light sticks are still technically glowing but don't do much.
The light was still glowing dimly the next night, indicating good battery life.

I was impressed with the brightness of the glow stick and could navigate and read labels in a room with no natural light.
The light was really bright for about 15 minutes.
After 6 hours, the light output diminished to the point where it was no longer of much use. After 9.25 hours, it was barely detectable in a completely dark room.

These light sticks can be used to illuminate doors at the end of a long hallway and attach them to important items for locating them quickly.
The emergency light stick can light up a dark room almost like a nightlight.
I was surprised by the ease of use of the emergency light stick. I could read the back of a shampoo bottle by holding it about 6 inches away in a room with no light.
