I tried adjusting the tension, changing needles, type of cloth, type of stabilizer and bobbins to resolve the issue with the machine. However, the issue still persists and I have to bring it to a repair person 50 miles away and hope they can figure it out.
There was an issue with the bobbin thread and upper thread, where the machine was using the bobbin thread for both upper and lower.
