About Osmo - Genius Starter Kit for iPad & iPhone
67% praised the content quality, while 33% found it outdated
OSMO teaches cursive writing in the Masterpiece app.
I am dissatisfied with the quality of the games included in the electronic learning system. The games are subpar and not worth the money I paid for them. The app is also buggy and works only 50% of the time. I recommend an alternative, Khan academy kids, which is free and has better content.
The company charges an outrageous amount for each additional app, typically around $24 per app, making it difficult to expand beyond the basics.
I will have to figure out the games on my own. This was an important item to omit.
68% liked the seamless integration, but 32% encountered issues
I found the games fun but they required too much tinkering.
67% appreciated the mobile-friendly design, though 33% found it limited
I found the experience on iPad much smoother compared to Fire Tablet. I also shared the steps to get the Osmo app to work on Fire Tablet.
Managing the app is difficult as each game requires its own download, registration and app on my device.
66% appreciated the personalized learning experience, though 34% found it limited
If an adult is available alongside, the educational value of the product is much greater as it is personalized for each child.
The apps are well-designed and intuitive to use. My child was able to self-start all the lessons, freeing me up to focus on my own work from home activities.
My grand-daughter loves learning and doing so much better after using Osmos.
Only 3 kits were provided for Numbers, Tangram, and Words, and there was no newton kit. This is negative feedback regarding personalization of electronic-learning-systems.

66% liked the progress tracking, while 34% found it inaccurate
The system allows adding multiple children to the account and tracks their progress while adjusting the content based on their age/difficulty level.
The combination of physical pieces and digital app is engaging and provides a tactile level of play that other apps cannot provide.
This system is not meant to babysit children.
It is difficult to trace the lines and they are often inaccurate. So, I memorized and copied the general outline to draw it myself on the paper.
66% found the user interface intuitive, but 34% encountered issues
The way the apps are organized can be confusing, especially for new users.
