The outlets may not be as springy and grippy anymore because I stored them with plugs inserted for an extended period of time. One of them seemed very loose and did not grip the lamp plug firmly.
The plug worked well for a couple of weeks but now it is very unreliable.
If the electrical-outlet-switches are within 1/2 inch of a metal surface, they will not work.

I appreciate the aesthetic design of the electrical-outlet-switches, especially the remote controls and the space to label each set of buttons. I wish I had discovered it decades ago.
