I added a camera that was easy to install and created actions based on its motion detection.
The outlet is great for me when I don't want to get up from the couch or bed. I can just say 'Alexa, turn on/off (device name)'.
I can now control the TV side of the smart plug with the remote control and it stays off, indicating that it has smart features.
