The product solved my problem of cord length for electrical-multi-outlets. I have used it numerous times while installing mounted projector systems. It provides enough outlets for the projector, speakers, and streaming device, and helps reduce cable clutter.
I prefer this outlet because it has a screw to tighten it to the socket, preventing it from pulling off when trying to unplug one and powering off everything else attached.
I bought this tap for our family room where we have a lot of cords and wall warts to plug in.
When all the outlets are on the front, the two center ones get lost because of bulky cords or adapters.
