I bought a triple tap outlet because I had a group of appliances in one area and was short on outlets. It's an easy and inexpensive solution, allowing me to plug-in three small appliances per outlet. I'm using one for my electric kettle, toaster, and blender, and it works perfectly.
I noticed that the three outlets are too close together to fit three plugs, so it's not really a three outlet thing.
