This multi-outlet has safety features and does not block the use of a flat light switch wired beside the plug.
I experienced a burning plastic smell and saw smoke coming out of the plug. I immediately unplugged it and saw that it was melting, indicating a potential electrical fire hazard.

I regret that one of the outlets is not facing downwards, resulting in a loop that makes it difficult to get towards the floor.
