I like to use this plug extender for the lone underside outlet on 3-plug extension cords. It lays flat and if I dont need to use the grounded outlet, it makes for much nicer cable mgmt, being able to use the top 2 extension cord outlets like normal + 4 more outlets that run parallel to the ground.
