About 20% of the ties in the bag have defects. The first defect is that the tie snaps off near the head while threading. The second defect is that the locking mechanism is completely missing from the head, so the tie does not latch.
Roughly half of the electrical-cable-ties I have used so far will not stay locked. The locking catch on the end must be the problem as the tie strap itself looks just like every other nylon zip tie I have ever purchased.
The electrical wire ties break within months of purchase.
