The anchor pad can be applied immediately after peeling it and is compatible with electrical cable ties, contrary to the 24-hour waiting period implied elsewhere.
I was concerned about how well the cable ties would adhere to metal in cold weather. I used them in 10 degree F and cleaned the metal before applying the cable ties. I held them down for 5 seconds and attached a cable to them with the provided zip ties. I tested them by tugging on a few and found that they were tight enough to hold the cable in place. I was surprised by how well they adhered and held up.
This product is not similar to 3M foam adhesive and is a Chinese imitation.
